Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28, 1967. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family that been a resident of Atlanta. It began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. At an early age, her father was interested in theatre. In 1952, while studying at Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a production that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. Both married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter along with his wife quit their Air Force service in and enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for kids called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. They also founded the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. During this time they also had two kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
