Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Julia Fiona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father was a theatre enthusiast from a very young time. As studying in Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and elsewhere in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was inducted into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. In 1955, the couple got married and their son Eric Anthony was born. In 1957 the couple left the military and Walter began his studies at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local Saturday morning children's show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for six years. The couple also had two children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the same name Julie).
