Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three siblings. Her parents split when she was only 17 years young. Her parents' business also failed, adding to her financial woes. Anorexia, bulimia and other mental disorders added to the difficulties. Gossow was ARCH ENIY's main singer until recently, said that she was deciding to quit the band. The year 1991 was the year I started my journey. I began to lose my enthusiasm for being a professional on the road. Instead of feigning it I quit, I decided to stop. The group was initially led by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German vocalist Angela Gossow in 2000. John Farnham's 1986 song, You're the Voice, was a huge hit for Australia, Ireland and UK.
