Kari Wuhrer was born April 28 in 1967. She is an American performer and singer. Wuhrer's career began as she was still in her teens. Her most famous roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). She is the youngest of three children. When she was young, Wuhrer sang at nightclubs, and then went on to sing.
