Sarah Michelle Gellar is a skilled film actor. She rose to fame on the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in the role of Buffy Summers. It was her destiny to be an actress--she was spotted by an agent at only four years old, and was invited to audition for acting in the television film, 'An invasion of Privacy'. This gave her a platform in the media as a child model. When she was a little girl, she continued to appear in TV series and even landed minor parts in Hollywood film. Her breakthrough came when as a teenager she was selected to portray Sydney Rutledge in the teen drama 'Swans Crossing'. She played Kendall Hart in the ABC soap opera "All My Children is highly acclaimed and brought her distinctions and awards which included one Emmy Award. Eventually she entered mainstream Hollywood and was offered part in films featuring horror like "I Have a Secret I Did Last Summer' and "Scream 2". One of the most significant moments in her career was when she was selected to play Buffy Summers in the highly well-known vampire show "Buffy the vampire Slayer.".
